摘要
The Hamiltonian loop formalism has been used to study QED in 2 + 1 dimensions. We have computed the ground state energy and the chiral condensate. The results show the correct confining behaviour. The method, based on symbolic computer manipulation, besides being extremely cheap in CPU time reveals itself very suitable to deal with dynamical fermions.
