摘要
Accurate forecasting of the risk of voltage instability depends on taking into account the power system equations as well as cases of major non-linearity and system dynamics. The paper gives a presentation of a newly developed indicator that can be used to determine the variation in demand that the power system can withstand, taking into account the factors mentioned above. Unlike most indicators that are currently available, the new indicator can be used as a forecasting tool. The results presented here make it feasible to utilize the indicator in Electricite de France's new national control center. © 1990 IEEE
