THE LOCAL LINEARIZATION BOUNDARY ELEMENT METHOD WITH APPLICATION TO HIGH SUBSONIC FLOW PAST BODY

摘要
The boundary element method is investigated for the computation of high subsonic flow about three-dimensional bodies with arbitrary shape. Based on the nonlinear transonic small-disturbance equation, an integral equation is obtained by the local linearization technique and Green's function method, and solved by boundary element method. The local linearization parameters are determined iteratively. Computations performed for both axisymmetric and nonaxisymmetric configurations show that the iteration converges rapidly and the results are satisfying. The combination of boundary element method and local linearization technique seems to be an effective engineering approach to solve some nonlinear equations with complex boundaries.
