摘要
The low strength of the magnetoelastic anisotropy has been considered as the main origin of the lack of a single and large Barkhausen jump for the magnetization reversal, at room temperature, in nearly non-magnetostrictive amorphous wires. However, as has been previously pointed out, this behavior in these wires can be observed by reducing the measuring temperature. In this work, we present a comparative study about the temperature dependence of the magnetization process (susceptibility, law of approach to saturation, domain patterns, etc.) of two Go-rich amorphous wires, characterized by their low magnetostriction constant. The results show that the occurrence of a squared hysteresis loop can be interpreted as a consequence of a counterbalance between the stray field and the magnetoelastic energies.
