摘要
Fluxon scattering by a local magnetic inhomogeneity is studied analytically in the framework of the perturbation theory for solitions. Threshold values of the bias-current density admitting the escape and trapping of a fluxon by the impurity are calculated. The energy of the plasma (Svihart) waves radiated by the scattering fluxon is taken into account to analyze the current-voltage (I-V) characteristic of the inhomogeneous junction. It is demonstrated that the I-V characteristic depends on the fluxon polarity, and the change of the polarity may lead to the appearance of a step on the I-V characteristic.
