摘要：

The paper discusses today's prospects of solar power generation and the three of most likely technologies of electrical generation from sunlight. These are single-crystal-silicon cells that have the highest efficiencies among commercial products; polycrystalline thin films that can be easily mass-produced; and amorphous silicon thin films which are easiest to deposit on a substrate.
