We propose a return to a method of Reggeizing invariant amplitudes now made feasible by virtue of recent advances in the technique of high-spin propagators. The advantage of this method over the usual method of Reggeizing helicity amplitudes is that we merely have to ensure that the invariant amplitudes are finite at t=0 in order that the complicated conditions on helicity amplitudes there be satisfied: this we achieve by using a dispersion relation to continue the Regge amplitude below threshold. The possible existence of daughter" trajectories and applications to superconvergence are discussed. © 1968."
