PARITY MIXING AND TIME-REVERSAL VIOLATION IN NUCLEI WITH OCTUPOLE DEFORMATIONS

摘要
Parity nonconserving and time reversal violating matrix elements between parity doublers occurring in nuclei that possess intrinsic octupole deformations are studied. In some cases the mixing coefficients rum out to be large due to the near degeneracy of the doublers and in the case of time reversal violation also due to the enhancement in the symmetry violating matrix elements.
