The bubble point pressures for two binary mixtures of bromotrifluoromethane (R13B1) and chloropentafluoroethane (R115) with chlorodifluoromethane (R22) were measured by a new apparatus based on a static method employing a pressure vessel of 46-cm3volume. The results for various compositions covering the range of temperatures from 298.15 K to near their critical values were obtained. The uncertainty of the present data was estimated to be no greater than ±0.3%. The bubble point pressures for pure substances and an azeotropic mixture (R502) were correlated by the Wagner equation, and those for refrigerant mixtures were also correlated by the Wagner equation, based on the corresponding states principle. © 1990, American Chemical Society.
