摘要
Macroporous membranes were prepared by the radical polymerization of the organic phase, carried out in bulk, opposite to the usually employed suspension radical synthesis of macroporous beads. The properties of the membranes, such as porosity, specific suface area, pore size and distribution and others, approach those of the beads and can be modified by using the same procedures. Water permeability of the membranes is the property important with respect to their application. Dependences of permeability on the polymerization time, concentration of the crosslinking agent in the polymerization mixture, membrane thickness and the polymerization procedure were determined.
