AC TECHNIQUE APPLIED TO CP MEASUREMENTS IN THE MARTENSITE-TRANSFORMATION OF CU-ZN-AL ALLOYS

摘要
The specific heats (c(p)) of two Cu-Zn-Al alloys in the beta and martensitic phases and during the transformation were measured by means of the ac technique. The determinations were performed on single crystals, working in quasi-isothermal and scanning modes. The mean values obtained are c(p) = 0.378 +/- 0.018 J/g K for the beta-phase at 309 K and 0.407 +/- 0.018 J/g K in the martensitic state at 280 K.
