CORRELATION OF CHLORINATED ORGANIC-COMPOUND EMISSIONS FROM INCINERATION WITH CHLORINATED ORGANIC INPUT

摘要
This paper summarizes the results of stack emission measurements made since 1988 at the University of Florida-Tacachale-Clean Combustion Technology Laboratory. We find several statistically significant relationships between HCl emissions (a surrogate for PVC in the waste) and the emissions of a number of chlorinated organic compounds. These relationships have important implications for clean combustion technology and public policy.
