摘要
We propose a powerful means of modifying the morphology of polypyrrole (PPy) films which show an oriented structure. The formation procedure of this special electrode composed of PPy and nitrile rubber (NBR), viz. , Pt/NBR/PPy is described elsewhere in more detail. The direction of PPy film growth was regulated successfully to show a pole-like structure in which anions can dope or undope faster. In this preliminary note, we report the superiority of the charging-discharging performance of lithium batteries employing a Pt/NBR/PPy cathode prepared in this way with a view to turning it to practical use.
