摘要：

This study examined the influence of competitive debate participation on argumentativeness (ARG) and verbal aggression (VA). Results indicated that students with participation experience in competitive debate differ from those prior to such experience in their level of ARG and VA. Post hoc analysis revealed that policy and non-policy formats of debate, and male and female participants, differ significantly in their levels of ARG and VA.
