Heusler alloys in which the magnetic moment is confined to the Mn atoms provide excellent model systems for studying localised 3d metallic magnetism. Here a neutron scattering investigation is reported which is aimed at the determination of the magnetic structures in the alloy series Pd2-xAgxMnln with x in the range 0 less-than-or-equal-to x less-than-or-equal-to 1.6. As a function of x different magnetically ordered structures are observed which include two different kinds of antiferromagnetic order or ferromagnetism. The experimental results are presented and simple models are discussed in an attempt to understand the change in magnetic order as a function of alloying.
