摘要
An experimental and theoretical investigation was conducted to determine the transient temperature distributions in the plate products as applied to the heating at the condition of air temperature of 50-degrees-C, and flow velocity of 1 m/s. Experimental data were obtained by using the temperature measurements at the center of the plate products. In the analysis, the theoretical temperature distributions for two cases, involving h = h(c n) and h = h(c n) + h(r d), were predicted by applying the convection boundary condition in transient heat transfer as well as the thermal properties of the plate product were estimated. The theoretical dimensionless temperature distributions for two cases were in a very good agreement with experimental data. However, a much better agreement between the experimental and theoretical distributions was observed for second case, h = h(c n) + h(r d).
