摘要
The cathodic behavior of the sputtered platinum and 4 mol% Y2O3-ZrO2(4YSZ) composite electrode on 4YSZ was investigated by means of d.c. measurements in the temperature range 450-800-degrees-C and in an oxygen partial pressure range of 0.5 to 10(-4) atm. The cathodic process was influenced by the thickness of the sputtered 4YSZ on the Pt film. The lowest cathode overpotential was found in the thickness of around 0.4 mum under low and high oxygen partial pressures. The composite electrodes showed no platinum particle coarsening and no electrode deterioration after firing in air at 900-degrees-C for 400 h.
