摘要
The model of an evaporating black hole proposed by Hiscock was based on using a two-dimensional Vaidya metric of mass M(v) decreasing to zero in some moment v=v0. One of his main results says that the total Hawking energy emitted to J+ from this system is finite if dM(v0)dv=0. An error in Hiscock's calculations is pointed out. The corrected result says that the Hawking energy obtained in this Vaidya model is always divergent. A simple, more general, proof of this statement is also given. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
