摘要
Fumed alumina made by flame pyrolysis has very different acidity compared to conventional aluminas. Supported transition metal oxides on fumed alumina have higher stability and a greater proportion of Bronsted acid centers than the corresponding systems on conventional aluminas. Binary, supported mixed oxide monolayer and "bi-layer" structure on fumed alumina have a wide and a controllable range of acidic properties. © 1990 J.C. Baltzer A.G. Scientific Publishing Company.
