摘要
A new type of rapid compression machine has been built to study autoignition of hydrocarbons and validate reaction mechanisms at high pressure in the range of ca. 600-900 K. The machine is remote controlled by a microcomputer and provided with a sampling system. Temperature determination is discussed in connection with the rate of compression. Various applications on autoignition experiments are presented, particularly for ''weak'' and ''strong'' ignition.
