摘要：

A TV receiver design is presented, which uses the principle of the quadrature receiver. Due to a low IF (intermediate frequency) of 2.6MHz, normal video analog to digital converters are sufficient to digitize the complete modulated signal. A lot of RF (radio frequency) processing is done within the digital domain. This processing includes fine selection, separation of picture and sound, and demodulation of picture and sound. The application of this principle allows an extensive integration of usual RF components and brings the digital signal processing closer to the antenna.
