摘要
In the field- of Tokamak fusion devices, a critical engineering design issue is related to’ the complete know ledge of the electromagnetic transient phenomena induced by a disruption event (rapid quenching of the plasma current). We report the specific use of the 3D general purpose eddy-current code TRIFOU, based on a mixed FEM and BIEM technique and using the magnetic field h as a state variable. The main objectives are to estimate the circulation of induced currents and to calculate the distribution of body forces generated from the coupling of eddy-currents and magnetic fields. The application concerns the inboard First Wall component designed for the ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) machine. © 1990, IEEE. All rights reserved.
