摘要
This paper presents a study of antimony segregation in Fe-Sb binaries, Fe-Ni-Sb ternaries, and Fe-Ni-Cr-C-Sb steels. The results show that nickel enhances segregation. Additions of chromium to Fe-Ni alloys cause additional enhancement but additions of manganese almost entirely eliminate it by causing precipitation of an antimonide in the matrix. These results can be explained by simple thermodynamic concepts. Previous models appear inadequate.
