By collating vortex relaxation data for a number of high-quality (Y, Tm)Ba2Cu3O7-delta crystals, several different regions of the H-T plane can be mapped out quantitatively, and without resort to fitting parameters. The features discussed are universal to all samples studied, and the crossovers between the regions can be understood in terms of dynamic transitions in the vortex behaviour. The relaxation information translates into an electric field-current picture, where different regions of the E-J curve are probed using two complementary relaxation techniques.
