摘要
A method of nonlinear analysis for three-dimensional frames based on a Taylor series approach to the equations of equilibrium is described. A nonsymmetric geometric structural stiffness is derived for the case of large rotations but small rotational strain. Its lack of symmetry is argued from the fact that finite rotations are not commutative under addition. Three examples are included. © 1990.
