CHARACTERIZATION OF BIOHEAT TRANSPORT USING AN EXACT SOLUTION TO THE CYLINDRICAL GEOMETRY, MULTIREGION, TIME-DEPENDENT BIOHEAT EQUATION

摘要
An exact solution is obtained to the classical time-dependent linear bioheat equation in one-dimensional multi-region cylindrical geometry with temperature-invariant physiological parameters. This solution complements the previously reported solutions for Cartesian and spherical geometries, enabling the study of transient temperature behaviour in an arbitrary number of coupled physiologically distinct regions for the three basic one-dimensional geometries.
