摘要
The aim of the present study is to compare some of the most well-known conceptual rainfall-runoff models. The study is not limited to verifying the ability of the various models to reproduce the measured flow rates, but also supplies a frame of reference for the structure and the connection between the conceptual blocks characteristic of each model, their influence in the overall representation of the effects on the closure section and the ease of calibration and estimation of the parameters, as well as their physical interpretation. The analysis was carried out using data for the Sieve watershed (an affluent of the Arno River), for which precipitation, temperature, and hourly flow rate values were available for a four-month period.
