摘要
Sudden cardiac death and acute myocardial infarction have a circadian pattern with a significant morning peak.1-6 The circadian rhythm associated with acute myocardial infarction was not observed in patients receiving propranolol.6 We are reporting data on the times of sudden cardiac death or fatal myocardial infarction from a prospective study of patients ≥62 years of age with heart disease, complex ventricular arrhythmias, and a left ventricular ejection fraction ≥40% randomized to propranolol or no antiarrhythmic drug.7. © 1994.
