摘要
This research investigates the effect of colloidal particles on the preparation of ordered mesoporous materials (M41S). It demonstrates that colloidal silica and colloidal titania particles promote the formation of these materials. Under similar conditions no ordered structure is observed without the colloidal particles. A heterogeneous nucleation mechanism is proposed based on these observations and is supported by direct evidence from transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
