SYNERGETIC MODEL FOR THE 1ST SHARP DIFFRACTION PEAK IN AMORPHOUS SUBSTANCES

摘要
First sharp diffraction peak (FSDP), a structural feature characteristic for a wide range of amorphous substances (glasses, amorphous metals and semiconductors, liquids of definite nature), is considered as the result of self-organization of chemical bonds in the form of bond wave. Corresponding layer-like substructure represents a dissipative pattern whose development is examined using the notions about a specific wave long-range order which have both translational and orientational constituents.
