摘要：

A Kerr magnetometer is described that measures both Kerr rotation and Kerr ellipticity with the help of a Faraday cell. The Kerr effect is compensated for by the Faraday rotation. Longitudinal and polar Kerr effect can be measured merely by using two different types of sample holders. © 1990.
