We have identified a new set of probable Pleiades cluster members based on an unbiased survey of stars within a 4x4 degree region centered near Alcyone. The faint magnitude limit of the survey is about V congruent-to 18, and the bright limit is about V = 14. In order to accurately define the luminosity function of the Pleiades, we have also derived new proper motions for a large number of stars previously suggested as possible Pleiades members. We provide accurate coordinates, V magnitudes and membership probabilities for these stars. The entire dataset has been used to estimate the Pleiades luminosity function to M(v) congruent-to 12.5, and to determine where further work is needed to make the Pleiades membership data more complete.
