摘要
The use of a multiplicity cut introduces a bias distorting the Bose-Einstein correlations. An extensive Monte Carlo simulation bases on a quantum statistical formalism, reveals that this bias has a substantial effect on the estimate of the true correlation length and chaoticity. It also reveals a strong antibunching effect at a fixed event multiplicity n, as has been observed experimentally.
