摘要
The Professional Personality Questionnaire (the PPQ), a personality test measuring the big five-extraversion, neuroticism, openness to experience or conventionality, tough-mindedness and conscientiousness-was administered to 208 subjects, categorized by job, in an investigation of its ability in occupational discrimination and the validity of its scales. After it was shown that neither age nor educational attainment could account for the results, it was demonstrated that the PPQ scales yielded meaningful discriminations and scores among occupational groups, and it was concluded that this test was a useful measure of personality in the occupational field. © 1991.
