摘要
Incipient interaction between dissimilar solids in the form of fine particles under mechanical stress was studied on the systems containing hydroxides or oxide hydrogels. It is to be noted that water molecules or hydroxyl groups play a role far beyond that of a simple solvent. Significant incipient interaction with regard to intercalation and particulate composite formation under mechanical stress was also discussed. A concept and applicability of soft mechanochemistry are proposed, where incipient, but significant mechanochemical reactions take place under mechanical stresses small enough to avoid contamination and to save energy.
