摘要
Liquefaction of a low rank coal by tetralin was carried out in batch autoclave experiments. Two-stage heating, i. e. first, at the temperature of 340 or 380 degree C which favours a non-radical mechanism of H-transfer, and next, at 440 degree C, was applied as well as one-stage heating exclusively at 440 degree C. Conversions obtained in the two-stage and one-stage modes using the same time of reaction were compared. The composition of selected products derived from both heating techniques was compared employing field ionization mass spectrometry. These results were discussed in terms of their possible technological implications in coal liquefaction.
