TIME-DEPENDENT MODE-COUPLING AND GENERATION OF 2-MODE SQUEEZED STATES

摘要
It is shown that a finite-interval time-dependent mode coupling of two modes leads to a two-mode squeezed state. A group theoretical interpretation is given in terms of the two-oscillator representations of the O(3, 2) de Sitter group. It is shown that the problem is exactly soluble for a delta-function-like pulse.
