摘要
A method of design sensitivity analysis for shape optimization of a thermo-diffusive system is developed. In the method an optimization problem is defined in functional form. The material derivative concept and an adjoint variable method are employed for the shape design sensitivity analysis. An axisymmetric problem of thermo-diffusion is an illustration of the method presented.
