摘要
The specific heat and magnetic susceptibility of the antiferromagnetic Heisenberg chain have been calculated using a numerical finite-size technique. An agreement with experiment for the quasi-one-dimensional compound CsNiCl3, which displays a Haldane gap, is revealed.
