摘要：

Hispanic elders living in the United States are a rapidly growing population. Health care is hindered in this population by poverty, underinsurance, and lack of access to medical care. Respect for traditional Hispanic culture, such as ''respeto,'' allocentrism, and familiarism, are important in the care of United States Hispanic Elders.
