摘要
A simple mathematical model has been developed to describe the diffusion process in an infinite cylinder, a sphere, and finite cylinders. The error involved in using the proposed model over the dimensionless time 0-0.25 is negligible. It offers a simpler method of calculating the diffusion process than the use of the full-series solutions.
