TRANSPORT-PROPERTIES OF QUASI-CRYSTALLINE ALCUFE

摘要
We report measurements of the electrical conductivity, magnetoconductivity and Hall effect of quasicrystalline Al62.5Cu25Fe12.5 polycrystals. The samples were produced by meltspinning and annealing at 810-degrees-C. The measurements were performed in the temperature range 1.8 to 300 K, applying magnetic fields to 8 T. The low temperature data will be interpreted according to the quantum corrections to electronic transport, including the quantum interference and Coulomb interaction effects. Finally, we will comment on the behaviour in the temperature range 50 less-than-or-equal-to T less-than-or-equal-to 300 K.
