CHARACTERISTICS OF PLASMA TEMPERATURE-VARIATION DURING 2-CURRENT-LOOP COLLISIONS

摘要
Characteristics of plasma temperature variations during two-current-loop collisions are described. It is revealed that plasma temperature has an oscillatory feature with damping amplitude and growing quasi-period in the case of an I-type collision. In the case of a Y-type collision, if the initial current becomes strong enough, there also occur pulsations of the temperature. However, the temperature profile of an X-type collision is characterized by a single pulse only.
