EMISSION ENHANCEMENT IN ELECTROLUMINESCENT DIODE UTILIZING POLY(3-ALKYLTHIOPHENE) DOPED WITH OXADIAZOLE DERIVATIVE

摘要
An electroluminescent diode utilizing molecularly doped poly(3-alkylthiophene) has been fabricated and its novel characteristics have been clarified. A remarkable enhancement of the electroluminescence intensity but suppression of the current have both been observed for a diode using poly(3-alkylthiophene) doped with oxadiazole derivative (PBD). The possible origins of these anomalous phenomena are discussed.
