摘要
Multiple-pass short-pulse off-axis amplification using spherical and cylindrical expansion schemes has been analyzed for different conventional discharge-pumped KrF gain modules. It is shown that using a single-gain module in a three-pass optimized off-axis arrangement, output energies up to several 100 mJ can be reached with excellent contrast, starting from 10-20 mu J input energies.
