摘要
An unknown pseudotrisaccharide was isolated from Lens culinaris seeds. NMR spectroscopy of this substance established unambiguously its structure as alpha-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->6)-alpha-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->2)-4-O-methyl-chiro-inositol. This compound has received the trivial name of ciceritol. It has been previously identified as manninotriose.
