摘要
Supporting electrolyte, stabilizer, and “chemical disposal unit” at the anode all in one! These three functions (that of stabilizer is visualized on the right) are performed by tetraalkylammonium acetates in the electrolysis of metal salts with the formation of metal clusters in the nanometer range. Furthermore, the particle size can be controlled by the current density. Other advantages include general applicability, good yields, easy isolation, and straightforward heterogenization on solid supports. (Figure Presented.)
