摘要：

Several examples using Mic/IR for routine sample sizes are demonstrated. Good spectra were obtained with simple sample handling and short analysis times. Many other types of materials can easily be sampled by this method. The usefulness of this technique revolves around the ability to view the sample and position it at an optimum sample thickness in the IR optical path. This application of microscopy/infrared spectroscopy provides an entirely new approach to the sampling for IR analysis.
