It is shown that the study of rare decays of phi-meson suppressed by both the OZI rule and G parity, on pi+pi-, omega-pi-0, eta-pi+pi- provide the possibility to elucidate the situation with the phi-omega and phi-rho mixing. The role of mixing and the direct transitions is discussed in detail. The perspectives of studying the above decays on e+e- colliders with high luminosity in the vicinity of the phi-resonance (phi-factories) are considered.
