摘要
In this paper problems for accurately measuring I-V curves of large a-Si modules using a pulsed xenon solar simulator are discussed. Errors resulting from deviations from one-sun illumination are analyzed and the influence of module design is discussed. Such deviations can occur due to the spectral distribution of the xenon light pulse, bulb aging, spatial non-uniformity of the light source, and the temporal shape of the light pulse intensity. If the actual spectral distribution of the pulse is known, the measured short-circuit current of the device under investigation can be corrected for both spectral (mismatch factor M) and intensity deviations. But, due to the series and shunt resistance of the device, the whole I-V curve will be influenced if the measurement is taken at an intensity differing from one sun. Depending on module design, the fill factor (and P(max)) will be most strongly affected.
